Become Beach Ready With Five Must-have Items

Beach essentials, Beach bag essentials, Beach essentials for summer 2019, What to bring to the beach for a day

It may still feel like winter outside, but summer is coming up faster than you think. With April only a couple months away, it’s time to start shopping for summer 2019’s necessities, from sunglasses to beach books.

Here is a list to help get you started on your summer fun shopping list:

Sunglasses

Whether you decide to go to a shop in the mall or grab them cheap off Amazon, sunglasses are one of the top necessities for any summer season. This season, oversized vintage is making a comeback. A personal favorite, round sunglasses, were all over the runways in the Spring 2018 shows. The sunglasses come in small, medium or large sizes. Feeling less risky? Aviator sunglasses never go out of style but still have a ting of retro feel to them, keeping you within the trend.

Swimming Suits

Keeping with a retro feel, this season’s bathing suits have high waists fit for a pin-up model. For women who enjoy a good bikini, the style has high-waist bottoms with well-supported tops, offering more coverage and support than the spaghetti strap or halter style of many other bikinis. For women who want to cover up a bit more, a Marilyn Monroe-esque one piece may be in order.

This season, when you head for the beach and sun, take Cooltan Tan-Through swimwear with you! Only Cooltan tan through swimsuits hold the patent on the soft, micro-fiber (Microsol V) that breathes. This allows the sun’s ray to filter through the swimsuit material without exposing what’s under it. So, enjoy the sun, have fun, and Get The Best Tan You Can. Get the beautiful all over tan without exposing yourself. For the ultimate tanning experience in both comfort and style! No more tan lines in Cooltan Tan through shirts and swimwear!

Beach Reads

The best part of going to the beach is having your toes buried under the sand while getting the chance to read a great book without interruption. This year’s beach reads range from tear-jerkers to tell-all’s.

Tangerine by Christine Mangan – Newylwed Alice is reluctantly vacationing in Tangier with her husband when her old school friend, Lucy, turns up unexpectedly and begins using Alice’s name. Scarlett Johansson is already attached to star in the film version, so the perfect time to get ahead of the cool-girl curve and check this novel off your reading list.

Looking for more of a comedy? Hits and Misses by Simon Rich – A sharp new collection from “one of the funniest writers in America” — The Daily Beast. Based on Rich’s real experiences in Hollywood, Hits and Misses chronicles the ups and downs of fame in all its absurdity.

Sundresses

Warmer days mean dresses and skirts without the dread of snagging your stockings. This season, maxi dresses and flowy sundresses are as trendy as ever. My personal favorite trend is floral patterns. Always a sucker for a black background, I’m falling in love with dresses that play up the bright colors in the pattern by having a darker color to play off. Of course, no sundress would be complete without the shoes.

Sandals

While basic flip-flops will always be around, this season is taking a hint from the Greeks. This style was shown off years ago by Carrie Bradshaw, the character from Sex and the City, while she was chasing down Mr. Big. This summer, you don’t have to be trying to reconcile your love life in order to have a fabulous style of shoes. The criss-cross style of these sandals can be worn in either a heel or a flat shoe, and paired with any of the great sundress choices this season.
